The Night of Ascension

On Friday 13 April 2018, Dunfermline Central Mosque held ‘The Night of Ascension’ event to mark the moment in which the Beloved Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) visited and led the prayer at the third holiest site in Islam, Masjid al-Aqsa before ascending to the heavens to meet Allah during the period of one night. The event had Qur’anic recitation followed by Prophetic odes and speeches discussing the auspicious occasion.
